49ers release bad news ahead of NFC Championship game

The 49ers are fresh off their postseason divisional victory over the rival Dallas Cowboys and are now in preparations to face the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Conference championship game this afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field. 

However, if they are to advance to the Super Bowl, they'll have to do so without one of the biggest pieces of their roster. Running back Elijah Mitchell has officially been listed as inactive for today's game after suffering a groin injury in last week's win over Dallas.
