Minutes ago, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that New York Jets star quarterback Aaron Rodgers posted a story on his personal Instagram page, confirming that he's undergone surgery on his ruptured Achilles and that it went great. 

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the former Packers QB had his operation performed by Dr. Neal S. ElAttrache of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in L.A., the same surgeon that performed the operation on the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant when he torn his Achilles years ago. 

Rodgers still has a long recovery ahead but he can now look forward to it.
