Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was in critical condition after the frightening incident that took place in early January on Monday Night Football in which he collapsed after undergoing cardiac arrest; he required CPR and the use of an AED to resume his heart rhythm before he was rushed via ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The great news is that he's since been discharged from the hospital and continued his recuperation at home; he's also communicated with his teammates and also made an appearance at their postseason game last week at Highmark Stadium, which the Bills unfortunately lost. He also made an appearance on the field during this past weekend's Super Bowl LVII matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, to the delight of the crowd.

However, not everyone was happy to see Hamlin - or specifically, what he was wearing. Take a look at what legendary former NFL running back Adrian Peterson had to say about Hamlin's $3,150 Takashi Murakami "Travis Jesus" jacket:

"You should be thanking God son! This is Blasphemy!! We all fall short but cmon man! I find this disrespectful!! #grateful #goddid"

He later clarified his comments, saying that he didn't think Hamlin meant any harm:

"So I spoke with [Damar], and we were able to discuss our thoughts as men. I want to be clear, I’m the last person to judge anyone, and that was never my intention," Adrian wrote. "However, I do feel as if the jacket was disrespectful and it was something that I needed to share. I do realize everyone makes mistakes and falls short at times, so again, my intention was never to judge, just to share my opinion."
