Altercation prior to Cowboys-49ers game

To say there is a bit of animosity between these two teams would be an accurate statement. The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers are in the midst of their battle for the right to advance to the NFC Championship game; the Cowboys are looking to avenge last season's loss to the Niners that knocked them out of the postseason. 

And prior to today's game at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, there were some clear hostilities taking place on the field before the real action began.

The host 49ers apparently weren't too pleased to see Cowboys kicker Brett Maher, who missed an NFL record four extra point attempts last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, warming up on the side of the field. They briefly attempted to stop him from practicing before being separated.
