Well, there you have it, Steelers fans.

The team has officially announced that offensive coordinator Matt Canada, who drew the wrath of fans and pundits alike due to the struggling offensive attack this past campaign, will in fact be returning for the 2023 season.

The Steelers scored a total of 29 touchdowns all season, which is tied for second worst in the rest of the National Football League along with the New York Jets, Denver Broncos and Houston Texans. Despite finishing the year with a 9-8 record, Pittsburgh's poor start to the year sealed their fate of being on the outside looking in at this year's postseason.

Quarterback Kenny Pickett, who endorsed Canada's return and also replaced struggling veteran Mitchell Trubisky under center, finished his rookie year having appeared in 13 games (12 starts) and completing 63% of his passes for a total of 2,404 yards, seven touchdowns and nine interceptions.
