The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of their home opener at AT&T Stadium against the visiting New York Jets, and there's one player on the roster who is suiting up for the first time in a long time. 

Slot defender Jourdan Lewis is active for the first time in a year after having his injury issues described as potentially career-threatening by head coach Mike McCarthy this week: 

He was injured while making an interception last season against the Detroit Lions, and was forced to undergo surgery which ended his season.
