Cowboys get quarterback offer from surprising figure!

This is all kinds of hilarious.

The Dallas Cowboys are already behind the 8-ball in the 2022 NFL season, in more ways than one. In the first place, they looked largely listless last night at AT&T Stadium against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, not even managing a single touchdown in a 19-3 loss.

What's worse, quarterback Dak Prescott was forced from the game after suffering a hand injury; according to team owner and general manager Jerry Jones, Prescott will be out at least the next eight weeks after undergoing surgery.

And while the Cowboys have no plans to acquire outside help at the position, they got an offer from a completely unexpected figure - none other than Boston Celtics veteran point guard Marcus Smart. During a recent interview on the “Rich Eisen Show”, Smart explained that he wouldn't mind a shot under center for the Cowboys.

"I played a couple positions, but I could play quarterback," he said. "I know my Cowboys ain't doing too well, but it's okay though, just give them some time."

"I had it all - I could run fast, I had the legs, could read the defense....I had it all."
