Cowboys sign pair of ex-UFL players

A pair of new faces in Dallas!

The Dallas Cowboys have announced that they've inked a pair of players to contracts, starting with cornerback Gareon Conley followed by linebacker Willie Harvey.

Conley played college football at Ohio State University and would be selected by the Oakland Raiders in the 2017 NFL Draft; he would later be traded to the Houston Texans. During their playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, he amassed five tackles and also sacked superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He's most recently played for the DC Defenders of the UFL.

Meanwhile, Harvey played collegiately at Iowa State and would spend time with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent. Eventually, he'd be named to the 2024 All-UFL team as a member of the UFL's St. Louis Battlehawks.
