Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin remains in critical condition after he suffered cardiac arrest in what was a frightening scene on Monday Night Football.
However, the good news is that his condition has improved and he has began communicating with his family. And his reported first words upon awaking are nothing short of amazing.
“Did we win? he asked.
”The answer is yes, Damar, you won. You’ve won the game of life." Dr. Timothy Pritts told reporters in a conference call.
Hamlin remains hospitalized at the University of Cincinnati medical center.
