Embarrassing Washington Commanders ticket prices go viral

This is just hilarious.

The Football Feed

The Washington Commanders aren't exactly commanding anything right now, and their ticket prices for their exhibition opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars certainly reflect that.

In fact, fans could get into FedEx Field for the shocking price of $1. Yes, you read that correctly.

“GameTime, a secondary ticket platform, reports tickets for Saturday’s preseason game between the Panthers and Commanders at FedEx Field are as cheap as $1,” wrote sports reporter Daniel Kaplan on Twitter.

Washington isn't expected to be able to improve much off of their pedestrian mark last season of seven wins and ten losses, and according to ESPN, their three year outlook doesn't look promising.

“The Commanders made a bet this offseason on QB Carson Wentz, one that figures to shape their fortunes for the next three seasons,” says ESPN when ranking Washington 27th in the league in terms of their three-year outlook. “Wentz is unlikely to rediscover the form he showed in 2017…but he's also capable of being a much better player than he has been over the past two years…Beyond Wentz, organizational stability must be accounted for, as owner Daniel Snyder remains embroiled in accusations that he fostered a toxic work culture.”

What kind of season will Washington have this year?
