The Dallas Cowboys will be looking to improve their record to 2-1 when they host the Washington Commanders this Sunday at AT&T Stadium, and while they'll remain shorthanded with the absence of quarterback Dak Prescott, there were encouraging signs at practice this week.
In the first place, wide receiver Michael Gallup has been a full participant this week and is trending towards making his season debut this Sunday.
Additionally, there has been progress made with two key members of the team who suffered injuries during their Week 1 loss agains the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Left guard Connor McGovern, who suffered high-ankle sprain suffered in the season opener, was a limited participant in practice. Meanwhile, tight end Dalton Schultz was on the field during the open portion of practice. And what's more, safety Jayron Kearse also participated in practice.
The Cowboys take on the Commanders this Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
