Houston Texans to hire former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith!

Lovie Smith has plenty of coaching experience under his belt, having served as the head coach of both the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Additionally, he's also coached at the collegiate level with the University of Illinois.

And now, he's reportedly on his way back to the NFL. According to multiple reports, the Houston Texans are finalizing a deal to hire Smith as their head coach: 

He'll be replacing David Culley, who was terminated by the team less than a year after his hire. 

Smith currently holds an 89-87 record as an NFL head coach, and also earned AP Coach of the Year honors in 2005.
