While the Dallas Cowboys along with team owner and general manager Jerry Jones have remained committed to head coach Mike McCarthy for at least one more season, could they soon have arguably the greatest NFL head coach in history join their ranks?

According to Jones, there is "no doubt" that he and now-former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who helped the team to an incredible six Super Bowl wins along with a handful of additional Super Bowl appearances, could work together.

"I know him personally and I like him," Jones said of Belichick. “There’s no doubt in my mind we could work together. None. None."

That didn't stop his support for McCarthy in the immediate aftermath of their stunning loss against the Green Bay Packers earlier this month in the NFL Wild Card postseason game at AT&T Stadium.

“His work with Dak, his work in the offense was really good,” Jones said of McCarthy. “I feel and he feels, we all feel, that there’s … more to do improving with Dak. Best way to get the meat that’s on the bone is continuity.”

Either way, could we soon see the NFL legend make his way to Dallas?
