Well, there's something you don't see every day!

Kelly Stafford, the outspoken wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, has apologized for throwing a soft pretzel at a fan while taking in the Rams battling the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara this past Monday night.

When a fan began trash talking her and her group, she eventually responded by throwing a soft pretzel at the fan in question. She and her group would soon be escorted by security to a different area of the stadium.

According to TMZ, no criminal charges have been filed.

“I’m an idiot,” Kelly wrote on her social media page. “He was saying a bunch of things that were aggressive towards our crew but zero excuse. I tried to apologize, but in the end knew I was wrong. Will always stand up for my guy and everyone I love, but obviously needed to do it completely different. I’m embarrassed too! Sorry you had to witness me in my weak moment."

Of course, Kelly was very outspoken on social media in defense of her husband during his decade-long tenure as a member of the Detroit Lions, routinely speaking out against fans who criticized him. She also made headlines last year when she compared the COVID-19 restrictions in the state of Michigan to "living in a dictatorship".
