NFL Network reporter calls out Pittsburgh's Dwayne Haskins

Will he respond?

Michael Whitaker

In a forgettable game that only be described as a comedy of errors, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Lions stumbled and fumbled their way to a 16-16 tie on Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

The tie ensured that the Detroit Lions wouldn't officially finish 0-17 after all, while it stopped Pittsburgh's winning streak.

It was quarterback Mason Rudolph under center Sunday for the Steelers, something he found out he'd be doing less than 24 hours ago when it was revealed that starter Ben Roethlisberger would be unavailable after being placed on the COVID-19 list late on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, 3rd string quarterback Dwayne Haskins has earned the wrath of NFL Network reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala, who called him out for throwing "lousy" passes during pregame warmups as well as being on his phone.

She writes:

Mason Rudolph has had 4 years to show who he is. Dwayne Haskins, ostensibly one play from his 1st game action yesterday, spent warm-ups throwing lousy passes & checking his phone. Ben Roethlisberger may not be who he once was, but there’s a reason he’s your QB, #Steelers fans.

Will Haskins issue a response?
