Philadelphia Eagles linked to Matt Patricia

Matt Patricia got his claim to fame as the defensive coordinator of the New England Patriots, winning a few championships before making what was ultimately an ill-fated stop with the Detroit Lions as their head coach. After a terrible tenure in the Motor City, Patricia was fired and ultimately re-hired by New England. 

And after spending last season as the team's unofficial offensive coordinator, he's been linked to the likes of the Denver Broncos this offseason - and now, there is a rumor swirling that he could join the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles. 

Per Karen Guregian of The Boston Herald, Patricia “has a shot to land with the Philadelphia Eagles on the defensive staff, presumably as a linebackers coach.”
