Pittsburgh Steelers signing XFL wide receiver

The Pittsburgh Steelers are adding another offensive weapon for quarterback Kenny Pickett. According to multiple reports, the team is signing wide receiver Hakeem Butler to a contract. 

Butler most recently played with the St. Louis Battlehawks of the XFL, hauling in 51 passes for 599 yards and a league-leading eight touchdowns.

Originally a 4th round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 out of Iowa State, he's also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and in the Canadian Football League with the BC Lions and Edmonton Elks. 

He did get in some time with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, appearing in two games and catching one pass.
