Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Tyron Smith was thought to potentially be a salary cap casual due to entering the final year of his contract and owed a total of $13.6 million. Not so fast!

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Cowboys are reportedly working on restructuring the contract for the two-time first-team All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowler.

“The Cowboys are working on a resolution to bring eight-time Pro Bowler Tyron Smith back for a 13th season, which could include a reworked contract, per sources,” Fowler wrote in a tweet.

He missed the first 13 games of last season due to having suffered a hamstring injury. If he does in fact return, it will be his 13th year with the team.
