It looks more and more likely by the day that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers could soon be wearing a different green NFL uniform.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Packers and New York Jets reportedly have compensation worked out for a trade that would send Rodgers from Green Bay to New York.
Rodgers has already met with executives from the Jets that include team owner Woody Johnson, who reportedly left the meeting with the NFL MVP feeling optimistic that a deal would get done.
Should Rodgers depart the Packers, he would leave a $40.3 million "dead" charge on the team books. His deal for this season includes $59.5 million guaranteed.
