The insane saga of former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown has taken a frightening turn.

An arrest warrant has been issued by police for the troubled former NFL player, and he's now reportedly engaged in a standoff with law enforcement at his home.

Per Tampa police, Brown :"poses a significant danger of causing personal injury to him or herself or others in the near future and beyond by having a firearm or any ammunition in their custody or control or by purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm or any ammunition."

Furthermore, Brown: "was involved in a recent act or threat of violence against themselves or other others; was engaged in an act or threat of violence, including but not limited to acts or threats of violence against themselves, within the past 12 months; may be seriously mentally ill or may have recurring mental health issues; has used or threatened to use, against themselves or others, any weapons; and has been arrested for, convicted or, had adjudication withheld, or pled nolo contendere to a crime involving violence or a threat of violence in Florida or in any other state."

According to ABC Action News, Brown was involved in an incident on Wednesday Brown with the mother of several of his children that became physical.

This is only the latest in a series of run ins with the law for Brown, and we can only hope that it comes to a peaceful conclusion.
