Steelers announce bad news on TJ Watt

Not this again......

The Football Feed

The Pittsburgh Steelers may be in a positive mindset after last week's victory over the Indianapolis Colts, but those good feelings could soon go by the wayside.

Their latest injury report released today as they continue preparations for tomorrow's road matchup against the Atlanta Falcons include running back Jaylen Warren, cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, and linebacker TJ Watt; Watt will be a game time decision tomorrow.

As you may remember, Watt already missed a considerable chunk of this season with a pectoral injury that he suffered in his team's Week 1 win on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals. But in Watt's words, this current ailment is a rib injury.

“I’ve been dealing with it for a couple years now,” Watt said of a rib injury, “so it’s something I have to get used to. It’s never fun to get the rib shots and all that stuff, but it’s something that I have to deal with and still try to affect the game the best I can.”

Though Watt didn't miss any practice this week, he was unable to be a full participant. However, the good news for Pittsburgh is that several players who missed practices this week will be playing tomorrow, including Minkah Fitzpatrick (ribs), inside linebacker Myles Jack (knee), center Mason Cole (foot) and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi (toe).

Tomorrow's game begins at 1:00 PM EST.
