Steelers to hold public viewing for Franco Harris

Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Steelers running back Franco Harris, best known for the legendary "Immaculate Reception" catch against the Oakland Raiders in the 1972 AFC Divisional Playoffs, passed away this week at the age of 72. The cause of his passing was not immediately known.
His untimely death came just days before the Steelers were set to retire his jersey number ahead of tonight's game at home against the Raiders. And ahead of tonight's game, the Steelers announced that there will be a public viewing of Harris, running from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., with stadium parking lots opening at 11 a.m.
It will be one last chance for Steelers fans to pay their respects to a franchise legend.
