Tua Tagavailoa suffers serious head injury, leaves in ambulance

Scary situation for the Dolphins QB.

The Football Feed

For the second straight week on Thursday Night Football, we've witnessed a devastating on-field injury.

During tonight's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagavailoa violently hit his head after being sacked and has been seriously injured.

The entire Dolphins team gathered around their fallen quarterback as team medical personnel attended to him. He's since been stretchered off the field.

The latest update from the Dolphins indicates that he has movement in all extremities and is currently at a local hospital undergoing further evaluation.

Tagavailoa's status for tonight's game against the Bengals had already been in doubt after he left last week's game against the Buffalo Bills with what was initially announced by the Dolphins as a head injury. Needless to say, this is going to raise serious questions amongst the Dolphins medical staff who cleared him for action tonight.

We certainly send our best wishes to Tagavailoa for a speedy recovery from what is clearly a very serious injury.
