21 years ago, the unimaginable happened. The World Trade Center towers were primarily the target of a terrorist attack against the USA.
Today several NFL games honored the heroes of this tragedy and the lost souls during the national anthem.
One in particular caught our attention and it is that of the city affected by his attacks. During the New York Jets game against the Baltimore Ravens, police officer Brianna Fernandez started the national anthem and then stopped singing. The crowd was invited to sing on this hard day.
Jets lost 24-9 to the Ravens at MetLife Stadium.
