Well, it's the latest news in his saga.

The season for the Green Bay Packers is officially over, as they won't be participants in the upcoming 2023 NFL postseason thanks to their second loss of the year at the hands of their division rival Detroit Lions, whom they would historically beat with ease. However, a second half surge by Detroit led by fiery head coach Dan Campbell turned heads everywhere, and eventually sealed Green Bay's fate on the outside looking in.
After their loss Sunday night, speculation immediately began to build as to the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers with the Packers, the only NFL team that he's ever suited up for. Of course, he was linked to other teams last offseason, but ultimately made the call to re-sign with Green Bay on a hefty extension. That doesn't mean that he is guaranteed to be back next year.
So, what are his plans?
“I feel good about what I’ve accomplished in this league and wouldn’t have any regrets walking away,” Rodgers said. “But I gotta see what it feels like once I get away from this.
“I think I need to get away and contemplate those things. Those are real to me. I have a lot of pride in what I’ve accomplished in this league but I’m also a realist and I understand where we’re at as a team. We’re a young team, there could be some changes with some of the older guys and it could be time to step away. But I could take some time and say hell no, man, I need to get back out there and go on another run. But I’ll have to see what it feels like once I’m away from it.”
Would he be open to suiting up for another team next season?
“I don’t know,” he said. “I don’t like saying never, but I gotta see how I’m feeling first, once the emotion is out of it and have the right conversations and see what the best direction is.”
