How much longer does he have?

The Pittsburgh Steelers were embarrassed by the Houston Texans this weekend, managing only six points on the scoreboard and once again calling into question the job security of offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Right or wrong, he was retained by head coach Mike Tomlin for another season.

But just what is the true nature of his job security with the Steelers if they don't start putting together stronger offensive performances? While the Steelers fan base has made no bones about their desire to see him be given a pink slip by team management, there are several well known media members calling for the same.

ESPN's Ryan Clark absolutely brutalized Canada in a recent appearance on "Get Up", saying what the Steelers went though against the Texans was a "new low" and saying that he'd better be seeing some big changes.

"It absolutely is a new low," Clark said. "When a defense that has any pride, when a defense that believes in itself goes against a rookie, you go win."

"Stop bumping your head up against the Matthew Canada wall. Send him back wherever you want to send him. Send him back to Pitt. Hell, I’d even take him back at LSU," Clark said. "It is sickening what you saw yesterday from the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I expect wholesale changes."

Even controversial former Steelers wideout Antonio Brown called out Canada on social media:

Folks, it's not looking pretty in Pittsburgh right now with Matt Canada leading the offense. If things don't improve, Tomlin and the rest of the team may not have a choice.
