The Chiefs and Cowboys meet this weekend.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is enjoying a bounce-back season after last year's campaign was ended prematurely thanks to that terrible ankle injury he suffered against the New York Giants.

Thanks to his performance on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons that saw the host Cowboys dominate their guests, Prescott has been named the FedEx Air Player of the Week for Week 10, the second time this season that he's earned the honor.

Prescott and the Cowboys will be taking on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, and the Chiefs QB had plenty to say about Prescott.

"He’s a tremendous leader," Mahomes told Dallas-based reporters. "He has been a starter in the league for a long time now. He’s athletic. You can see that by the way he played in college, and he can make a lot of big-time throws."

Of course, Prescott was quick to return the favor, complimenting the former NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion.

"Just his competitiveness," Prescott said. "He never believes he's out of a game, thinks he can make every throw. And I think that's huge at this position just to have that confidence. I think it goes a long way in bleeding to your other teammates and those guys feeding off of that as well. He's a big-time playmaker. He's a great player. MVP obviously, Super Bowl MVP. Special talent."

Prescott has tossed 20 touchdowns and five interceptions in eight starts so far in 2021 with a career best 70.3 completion percentage. Meanwhile, Mahomes has led the Chiefs to three straight wins.

And needless to say, this is going to be a great game for fans tuning in.

"That's what everybody wants to see," Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup said. "Two great football players, great teams, great offenses, powerful defenses. It's going to be a battle. So just sit back, get your popcorn. It's going to be a good one."

The Chiefs host the Cowboys from Arrowhead Stadium this Sunday, with a 4:25 PM EST kickoff time.
