The Dallas Cowboys have completed a major trade with their in-state rival Houston Texans today, bringing in wide receiver Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans in exchange for draft selections.
The Cowboys were certainly in need of extra offensive help, considering the fact that they decided to part ways with longtime running back Ezekiel Elliott earlier this week.
Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reported that Cooks had been looking to change teams after a period of non-success with the Texans, saying that the wideout "reiterated this offseason his desire to change teams and join a playoff contender after going 11-38-1 with the Texans over the past three seasons."
