It was an incredible season for Dallas Cowboys rookie LB Micah Parsons, who became the first NFL rookie to have recorded 75-plus tackles and 10-plus sacks in the last 25 seasons.
And he was rewarded for his efforts in a big way, making NFL history by becoming the first unanimous choice for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, as well as earning a Pro-Bowl selection.
And according to CBS Sports writer Jordan Dajani, Parsons is first on his list of the NFL's top-10 linebackers.
"We thought about if Parsons should even be included in this list since he played a fair amount of pass-rusher last season, but the bottom line is that Parsons is a great linebacker who can wear several different hats on defense," Dajani explained. "Parsons is versatile, smart and instinctive. You don't do what he did in his rookie season if you aren't a star. NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler."
We're looking forward to seeing what Parsons accomplishes next season!
