Dallas Cowboys ditch former Super Bowl winner

Running back Ronald Jones II signed with the Cowboys this offseason after having played with both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, he won't get a chance to suit up for Dallas this year. The former Super Bowl winner was released on Monday after completing his suspension for violation of the NFL's PED policy. 

At the time of his suspension, Jones maintained his innocence and insisted that he didn't knowingly violate the rules.

“I love this game and would never cheat it," he said. "I would never knowingly take a banned substance. I will continue to work with my team to investigate how this happened so that it never happens again.”
