A tweet from New York Post journalist Andrew Marchand indicated that former NFL quarterback was stepping aside as an anaylst on NBC after just one year on the job. According to his sources, the decision was mutual between him and the network. 

Just after the news broke out, Drew Brees tweeted that the rumours weren't true and that he wasn't decide on what was next for him. Brees wants to think about it since he has many options in front of him. 

Many fans on Twitter are thinking that getting out of retirement could be one of the reason he isn't sure yet. We'll see.

At 43 years old, former New Orleans Saints QB has played 21 years in the NFL.
