Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' personal life has been in the headlines this year for some negative reasons, including his having mislead his team on his COVID-19 vaccination status as well as his open admitting to using a plant-based psychedelic called ayahuasca. Of course, there's also the drama in his romantic life.

But now, go ahead and add another strange story into the Rodgers saga. His former teammate in Packers backup QB DeShone Kizer revealed that Rodgers asked him if he "believed" in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States that claimed 3,000 lives.

"We shut the door and the first thing that comes out of Aaron Rodgers' mouth was 'Do you believe in 9/11?' "

Kizer, 26, said he replied, "'What? Do I believe in 9/11? Yeah why wouldn't I?' "

"Now we start learning about the playbook and stuff. And I was like, 'Wow I don't know where this is going.' "

"What it ended up being was a real thought experiment where he wanted me to go back and look into some of the conspiracies around it."

Kizer also stated that Rodgers told him to "read up on that", meaning look into some of the conspiracy theories that have been floating around involving the terrorist attack.
