The New England Patriots pulled off an upset last night on Thursday Night Football, taking down the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.

And it was former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott who helped make it possible with 68 yards on 22 carries. Needless to say, he was feeling pretty good.

“I’m glad I’m able to show you guys I’ve still got it," he said.

"This probably is the best I’ve felt this late in a season,” he continued.

Head coach Bill Belichick, who has been finding himself the target of criticism lately, felt good about Elliotts performance.

“I thought Zeke ran hard. Zeke made a big play on the interception to keep them out of the end zone,'' Belichick said afterward. “He comes to work every day. We needed him to step up and carry the mail today, and he did. ... That was a pro performance today.”

Last night's win was only the third of the season for the Patriots, and naturally felt like it was a long time coming.

“We needed this a lot,” Elliott said. “It’s been a minute since we had a win, it’s been a minute since we knew how this felt. It’s great for these guys to come out here and get this win.”

“I am finally up here in the Northeast, so it was only right that I get me a mink, so definitely, my guy did his thing, got me looking good,” Elliott said.
