Fan to cash in BIG TIME from Tom Brady's retirement announcement!

Former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady officially announced his second retirement from the National Football League earlier this week, and he was sure to include in his announcement that he filmed on an unnamed beach that this retirement would be permanent. 

And now, one particular fan is on the verge of becoming considerably wealthier. This particular fan decided to gather a jar full of sand from the exact same spot on the beach where Brady recorded his announcement, and has listed it on eBay. At last glance, the latest bid was up to $99,000.

The seller initially listed the sand for sale at $677, the same number of touchdowns that Brady threw over his career.

“You will find no other listing like this,” the seller wrote on eBay. “No one else took a sample on Feb. 1 after the GOAT posted his real retirement. You will be owning the very land the GOAT retired on.”

The auction closes on February 12, the date of Super Bowl LVII.
