Fox Sports has brutal message for Dak Prescott
Are the Cowboys running out of patience?
The Football Feed
The Dallas Cowboys are headed for the NFL postseason for the second year in a row, the first such time that they've qualified in consecutive years since 2016 and 2017.
But there are a few lingering doubts as to whether or not they can go on a lengthy run for the first time since 1995, and help get the awful taste out of their mouth from last season's early exit at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. Quarterback Dak Prescott's turnovers have been a concern, and there is growing speculation as to whether or not he is indeed the player to lead them back to glory.
Are the Cowboys growing impatient with Prescott, whom they committed major money to? According to Fox Sports analyst David Helman, that's the case.
"If he loses his game, now I think all bets are off," he said. "At this point, for the most part, the opinion of Dak has been very neutral. ... He falls to 1-4 [in the playoffs] if he loses this game. If you lose this game, now I think you start to see a snowball effect where [critics say], 'He can't win a big game. He's not a good quarterback. He doesn't show up in big moments. He can't stop throwing takeaways.' If he loses this game, I think the narrative gets a little out of control, and it's going to take a lot to rectify it."

It will not be a good look for the Cowboys if they're unable to advance this season against 45 year old Tom Brady, who went through his first losing season in nearly two decades.
