Future of Dak Prescott with Cowboys reportedly leaked
Are we seeing the last of Dak with Dallas?
The Football Feed
The season for the Dallas Cowboys once again came to an early and unceremonious end, losing a stunner against the Green Bay Packers last month.
Special scrutiny came upon Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who had a severely underwhelming first half of play that included a pick-six to increase the lead for the visiting Packers. And while Prescott and the Cowboys were able to cut into Green Bay's lead in the 2nd half, it was too little, too late.
Naturally, there is going to be plenty of drama in the offseason as the Cowboys work to recover from their season ending in such a disappointing manner. But while team owner and general manager Jerry Jones has made no secret about wanting to see Jones remain a Cowboy for the rest of his career, is he entering the final year of his tenure with the franchise?
According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, 2024 could very well be the final season with Dallas for Prescott.
"I do believe there is such a world where he (Prescott) ends up on a different team in 2025," he opined.
Just how strange would it be to see Prescott wear a different uniform other than that of the Dallas Cowboys? Because it's not something that I nor thousands of other Cowboys fans would be able to get used to seeing for a very long time.
Then again, what would an appropriate new deal for Prescott consist of in terms of length and compensation?
