After having played collegiate football at South Carolina, safety Israel Mukuamu was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with their 6th round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. And while he's not the flashiest player on the field, he's proven himself to be an important part of the squad that regardless of what pundits say, has championship aspirations.
And according to the man himself, that's exactly what they're working towards. Mukuamu made an appearance on the "Pick 6 Sports" podcast on for an interview on Monday, during which he promised fans of the Cowboys that they're working towards getting back to football's ultimate glory.
“Cowboys Nation,” he said, “we [are] working to get y’all a Super Bowl. It’s gon’ come soon. Just be patient.”
Cowboys fans, it's certainly been far too long since we've tasted the glory of winning the Super Bowl. How about finally getting it done next season?
