It wasn't very long ago that former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger appeared to call out team management for not giving him a competent offensive line in what was his final NFL season, effectually cancelling out any chance that he had to go out on top with another Super Bowl championship.

Specifically, he had words for former third-round pick Kendrick Green, who is now with the Houston Texans after being dealt from Pittsburgh to Houston in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

"He was my center my last year. They drafted that guy to be my center. Well, last year, he didn’t even dress. And now they have him playing a little bit of fullback," Ben Roethlisberger said on his podcast 'Footbahllin'. "Kevin Colbert and them drafted him to be my center my last year. And now he is playing fullback. But good for Kendrick."

And you can be that Texans GM Nick Caserio caught wind of Roethlisberger's comments, and he responded in kind.

"He actually played, probably, more competitive than people think," Caserio said. "I know there’s been some commentary made about him — specifically from the guy who played quarterback there. But, in the end, we can’t really worry about what happened somewhere else. (We’re) trying to focus on where we are now and what you think he can bring to the table. He has some inside flexibility, center-guard and guard-center. He’s an offensive lineman."

How is Green going to perform in his first year in Houston, and will he make Roethlisberger regret calling him out?
