The NFL Trade Deadline is slowly ticking away, with only minutes remaining. And while there have been a handful of notable deals throughout the League, including the Pittsburgh Steelers dealing away wide receiver Chase Claypool to the Chicago Bears, the Dallas Cowboys have remained dormant so far.

And if the comments earlier today by team owner and general manager Jerry Jones are any indication, Cowboys fans who are wanting to see their team acquire talent to help aid a potential deep postseason run will have to wait until the offseason.

“Better chance of nothing happening than of something happening," he said today on 103.5 The Fan. "I’m standing by the track, and when the train comes by, I’m ready to hit that caboose and not let it get by me. I can grab that caboose in the next few hours.”

However, he did admit to feeling a greater sense of urgency as it currently stands as opposed to a decade ago.

“It does cross my mind now, consequently I don’t have time to have a bad time," he said. "My schedule has tightened. I have a little less cruising time and a little more doing time.”

Will the Cowboys make a move? It doesn't appear as though that will be the case.
