Kayvon Thibodeaux has words for the Cowboys

The Giants rookie is fired up.

The New York Giants selected outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux with the 5th overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, though he was held out of his team's first two games of the season thanks to an MCL injury.

However, he's healed up and ready to make his professional debut tomorrow night against the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium. And needless to say, he's fired up to get going for the Giants, who are 2-0 for the first time since 2016.

Thibodeaux told reporters: "Oh yeah, I'm playing."

Thibodeaux finished his collegiate career at Oregon by amassing 126 total tackles, 35.5 tackles for loss, 19 sacks and three forced fumbles.

"Nobody wants to be on the sideline, but I think that’s the part of team sport where you really got to be humble,” Thibodeaux said, via Giants Wire. “And the fact that I can’t win a game; I can’t lose a game. All I can do is contribute to the outcome. So, for me, even when I’m not on the field, just trying to figure out how I can contribute to the guys I’m playing with.”

The Giants and Cowboys kickoff tomorrow night starting at 8:25 PM EST.
