The Pittsburgh Steelers lost quarterback Kenny Pickett during their embarrassing loss to the Houston Texans last weekend; he would be replaced under center by Mitchell Trubisky, who was Pittsburgh's starter at the beginning of last season before Pickett's emergence.

But the good news that was shared by the Steelers earlier this week is that they did not expect the injury to keep him out long term. And Pickett has since announced that he should be good to go for Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens at home.

"Good, good," Pickett said when asked how he feels, per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Brian Batko. "I'll be ready to go by Sunday."

Pickett is in his second year as the Steelers starting quarterback, and has thrown for a total of 803 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions with a 60.6 completion percentage so far in four games in 2023.

The Steelers currently have an opportunity to close the gap in the AFC North division with a 2-2 record. Their upcoming game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5 will be pivotal before they enjoy their bye week.
