The Pittsburgh Steelers clearly had high hopes for quarterback Kenny Pickett when they took him with their 1st round draft selection last year. And despite having initially rolled with Mitchell Trubisky to start the 2022 NFL season, Pickett has taken over under center as their starter moving forward.
And he's been rewarded for his efforts by having been named the winner of the Joe Greene Great Performance Award, which is awarded annually by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America to the team’s standout rookie player.
