So, what exactly is Tom Brady up to?
He officially called it a career (for the second time) earlier this year after his Tampa Bay Buccaneers were eliminated from the NFL postseason by the Dallas Cowboys, and promised that this retirement from playing would last. He's also got a hefty payday coming up from Fox to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars to serve as an analyst.
However, a recent report suggested that Brady wouldn't be joining the network just yet, further fueling speculation that he could attempt yet another NFL comeback. But Brady himself would respond to that, calling it "Fake News" on his social media account.
It sounds as though he is going to take some time to prepare for his upcoming role, however.
“I think for me, I want to be great at what I do and even talking last week with the people at Fox Sports and the leadership there allowing me to start my Fox opportunity in the fall of 2024 is something that’s great for me,” Brady told Colin Cowherd. “So I’ll take some time to really learn, become great at what I want to do, and become great at thinking about the opportunity and making sure I don’t rush into anything.”
