The New England Patriots suffered more than one loss this afternoon at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

In the first place, they dropped their Week 1 matchup against the Miami Dolphins by a 20-7 score, putting them behind the 8-ball early in the 2022 season with an 0-1 record. But to make matters worse, quarterback Mac Jones suffered a back injury, and was not made available to media members after the game.

He was also seen heading to the X-Ray room.

However, there's a bit of good news. According NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the X-Rays were negative:

"X-rays were negative on #Patriots QB Mac Jones' injured back, per source," he wrote. "He'll be evaluated further when the team gets back to Foxborough."

The Patriots will next travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers next Sunday.
