Will it finally happen?

All throughout the 2022 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys were linked to free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. - though no deal has materialized between the two sides.

And with the offseason officially upon us, there there still a chance that there could still be interest between the two sides for 2023? According to Cowboys general manager and team owner Jerry Jones, the answer is yes. With NFL free agency set to officially kick off on March 13, the Cowboys and Beckham Jr. still are reportedly going to be in talks regarding a contract.

“I’ve gotten to know him well, and we’ll be talking,” Jones said recently.

Additionally, according to Pro Football Focus’ Brad Spielberger, a deal will in fact get done between the two sides this summer at some point.

"The Dallas Cowboys make a lot of sense as a landing spot — just ask Micah Parsons — with CeeDee Lamb likely not signing his extension until the 2024 offseason," Spielberger wrote. "In the meantime, Dallas can have two mid-tier wide receiver contracts with Michael Gallup and Beckham Jr.

"The Cowboys have to regret recouping just a fifth-round pick for Amari Cooper — and every other team that didn’t beat that price should, as well. But with Beckham they don’t have to break the bank on a game-changing wide receiver when healthy."

We'll keep our eyes (and ears) peeled for any further developments.
