Following Tom Brady's statement on his decision to retire, the whole football world went crazy. While the Montreal Alouettes reached out to Brady asking him if he'd like to play for them, some TB12 die hard fans expressed their concern on why he decided to retire in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform.

When asked about the subject, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft hastened to confirm that he will do everything in his power to re-sign his star quarterback. The two men still seem to be on very good terms. Brady also attended Kraft's wedding in the middle of last season.

"I'd do it tomorrow. Not only do I want it, our fans are clamoring for it and to us, he always has been and always will be a Patriot. ... We'll do everything we can in our power to bring him back, sign off as a Patriot and find ways to honor him for many years to come. He did so much to bring life and good cheer to our community and he's a beloved figure and he's earned the respect and love that people feel for him like no other athlete in our town and we've had some great ones."

"I’m always rooting for Tommy, except when he’s playing us. In the end, I hope and believe he’ll come back here and we’ll give him his red jacket, and he’ll retire a Patriot."

On the Patriots side it seems clear that the offer of a one-day contract is on the table. Will The GOAT accept the offer?
After all, it was New England leaders who gave him the chance to become the best quarterback ever.
