WHile the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't going to be making a change at their offensive coordinator position despite numerous calls from fans and media members alike against the maligned Matt Canada, there is one member of the coaching staff who won't be back with Mike Tomlin and company in 2023.
According to multiple reports, inside linebackers coach Jerry Olsavsky will not be back next season. He's now the third member of the coaching staff to depart, following senior defensive assistant Brian Flores, who is now the defensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings; and assistant head coach John Mitchell, who called it a career.
He played nine season with the Steelers after being selected out of Pitt, where he was an All-American linebacker.
He was made expendable by Pittsburgh after the team hired Aaron Curry from the Seattle Seahawks.
