Chiefs DE Chris Jones calls out Cowboys QB Dak Prescott!

He didn't look to thrilled over being snubbed!

The Kansas City Chiefs made a statement during America's Game of the Week at Arrowhead Stadium last night against the Dallas Cowboys.

A defensive clampdown of the visiting Dallas Cowboys resulted in a 19-9 victory, improving the host Chiefs to 7-4 while dropping the Cowboys to 7-3.

Defensive tackle Chris Jones had a particularly strong game, recording 3 1/2 sacks on Cowboys QB Dak Prescott while forcing a fumble and recovering another.

“We had a few rough weeks. We had a lot of guys injured. It wasn't clicking,” Jones acknowledged, “but when you take everything into consideration, we were still able to compete. And to have everyone back and build that chemistry, I think it's a huge part of our success right now.”

Jones wanted to talk to his former Mississippi State teammate in Prescott following the game, but the Cowboys quarterback apparently wanted none of it. Jones alluded to as much following the action on the field in his immediate post-game interview:

"He didn't talk to me," Jones said in feigned surprise. "We're boys! Hail State! Where's the love?!"
