Can he keep them from happening?

While it's been a strong season for the Dallas Cowboys so far in 2022, it hasn't been without a few bumps in the road. It was quarterback Dak Prescott who threw the fateful Pick-Six in overtime last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars in overtime, sealing the Cowboys fate for what would be only their 4th loss of the year.

And as the Cowboys gear up to face their division rival Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Eve, Prescott was asked about how he keeps those kind of errors from getting into his head.

“Whether it’s a tipped ball, whether it’s an unfortunate interception, whatever it is, they all suck,” said Prescott. “And at the end of the day, I’ve got to do a better job, and that’s where it is.”

“Not to brag, but I’m pretty mentally tough," Prescott continued. "From the outside, I wouldn’t worry about that for one second with me. And if I’m not, I’m for sure not hesitant or scared to say I’m struggling a little bit.”

In the meantime, Prescott and the Cowboys continue their preparations for the Eagles, who lead the NFC East.

“I think everybody in the locker room is looking forward to this rematch…understanding the long history…understanding that they’re playing their asses off, having a hell of a season. … You just want to get another shot, make sure you put your best foot forward.”

The Cowboys and Eagles will kick off from AT&T Stadium Saturday starting at 4:25 PM EST. And a win for the host Cowboys would certainly go a long way.
